Percent Pediatrics: 50-75 Pediatric Focus: General Pediatrics The Child and Young Adult Hip Preservation Program, at Boston Children’s Hospital, offers a twelve–month fellowship in joint-preserving surgery of the adolescent and young adult hip. The fellowship includes clinical experience in analysis, and both primary and secondary surgical treatment, for a variety of mechanical hip disorders, including dysplasia, slipped epiphysis, Perthes disease, and other varieties of femoroacetabular impingement. There is extensive exposure to periacetabular osteotomy, surgical hip dislocation, proximal femoral osteotomy, and hip arthroscopy, with each of the surgeons in the Hip Program.
