Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) Surgical Specialty Group (CSSG) is looking for a Board Certified Pediatric Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon who is eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license to join its dynamic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice in the Hampton Roads region of southeastern coastal Virginia. We are seeking a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for our busy and growing orthopedics practice. The ideal candidate is a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon dedicated to general pediatric orthopedic care. We have well-developed, community-focused programs in sports medicine, spine, and neuromuscular and are looking for a candidate to invest in our community’s pediatric population over the long term. This is a full-time position with excellent salary and benefits, including relocation and sign on bonus. We cover 4 satellite locations and 2 outpatient hospital ORs in addition to our main hospital OR.

CHKD serves as the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in the region, caring for the most severely injured patients with resources to address all aspects of accidental injury, from prevention to rehabilitation. CHKD's surgical program is designated as a Level 1 Children's Surgery Center, the highest level possible, by the American College of Surgeons. CHKD’s Spine Program was the first in the nation to receive the Advanced Pediatric Spine Certification from DNV Healthcare. CHKD is affiliated with Eastern Virginia Medical School/Old Dominion University.
